Carinthia was a region formely belonging to Austria that was divided after the Great War, between Austria, Yugoslavia and Italy. Postage stamps of the Carinthian Plebiscite features stamps of the three nations overprinted in various ways to indicate their intended use in Carinthia. For Example, Austrian stamps were overprinted with "Karnten Abstimmung", which translates as "Carinthian Plebiscite". Yugoslavia overprinted its Newspaper Stamps with "KGCA 1920" which stood for "Carinthian Government Commission, Zone A".
